with urban designers Taylor Young Graham Festenstein Lighting Design
prepared the Lighting Strategy for Chester's Public Realm
Design Guide.
As
one of the countries foremost historic city centres Chester requires a
sensitive approach to lighting, however the strategy still required to
tackle the urban design issues of any UK city. The document uses an
integrated approach to lighting, urban design and public art, ensuring
the cities historic and archaeological heritage are protected and
enhanced, whilst the residents enjoy the benefits of up to date public
realm.
